MAKE A DONATION AND CHANGE THE WORLD!

Even though the Skoll Foundation’s House Party campaign has ended, you can still donate to projects run by organizations of the social entrepreneurs featured in The New Heroes. You can help the New Heroes enlarge their programs so they can help even more people. Just like their counterparts in the business world, social entrepreneurs need capital to fuel the growth of their organizations and expand their services. You can make a critical difference.

To make it easy and secure to contribute directly to any of the projects featured in The New Heroes, the Skoll Foundation has partnered with GlobalGiving, a nonprofit, Internet-based service that connects donors like you directly to projects throughout the world.

There Is Power in Numbers
A new idea in personal charitable giving is called a “shared giving circle.” It is a lot like a book club or a stock investment club. In a shared giving circle, people come together, discuss their interests and decide to collectively support certain projects. Your group could be the start of a shared giving circle devoted to supporting social entrepreneurs around the globe. To learn how to start a giving circle, visit http://www.givingforum.com/givingcircles/

For more inspiration, order The New Heroes DVD set, and see stories about dynamic social entrepreneurs who are changing the world. And visit the resources in the Learn More section for more ideas and information. Social entrepreneurs are the change agents that the world needs. By supporting them, we can change the world!
